The Marsh Restaurant selected to host Simple, Good & Tasty’s July Food EventJun 09, 2010
The Marsh’s reputation for serving local, sustainable and organic foods in its restaurant led to its selection as the location for Simple, Good and Tasty’s (SGT) Local Food Event for July. An organization dedicated to promoting local, sustainable, and organic foods and the people who produce them, SGT partners with restaurants throughout the Twin Cities to host these monthly events. The Marsh Restaurant is the first suburban restaurant to be invited to host such an event.

Date: Thursday, July 15
Time: 6:30 p.m. drinks and snacks; 7:00 p.m. dinner
Location: The Deck (weather permitting)
Menu: Multicourse summer sampler dinner with wine pairings featuring seasonally fresh, locally produced foods.
Speaker: Sean Jones, Culinary Arts Instructor at St. Paul College,discusses the importance of discovering your food sources.
Cost: $55/person.
Reservations required by Noon, Monday, July 12.
